ISO/IEC 27001 - Lead Implementer is both a training course and a certification. 

Candidates will be required to follow the training course in self-study mode or E-learning mode at their convenience, taking into account the 12 months timeframe for training and certification.  

Pre-recorded videos and materials will be made available to the candidate for further training. Candidates will also have access to an examination questionnaire to help them prepare for the exam. Candidates will be allowed two attempts at the exam, but these must be completed within the allotted time.

ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer provides participants with the knowledge needed to help an organization effectively plan, implement, manage, monitor and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

The main requirement for participation in this training is to have a general knowledge of the concepts of WSIS and ISO/IEC 27001.

The “ISO/IEC 27001 - Lead Implementer” lasts 60 minutes. Candidates may retake the exam if they fail during the 1-year interval. 

Exam and certification fees are included with the training. 

Participants will receive the training material containing more than 450 pages of explanatory information, examples, good practices, exercises and quizzes.  

A Certificate of Completion of 31 CPD (Continuing Vocational Development) units will be issued to participants who have completed the training. 

If the exam fails, candidates can retake it free of charge within 12 months of the initial attempt.

After completing the training course, you can take the exam. If you pass it, you can apply for the "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer" designation, which demonstrates your ability and practical knowledge to implement an ISMS based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001.

This training contains essay-type exercises, multiple-choice quizzes, examples and good practices used in the implementation of an ISMS. 

Participants are encouraged to communicate with each other and participate in discussions as they complete quizzes and exercises.  

The exercises are based on a case study.  

The structure of the quizzes is similar to that of the certification exam.

Day 2: Planning for the implementation of an WSIS 

Day 3: WSIS Implementation 

Day 4: Monitoring, continuous improvement and preparation for the WSIS certification audit 

Day 5: Certification Exam

The "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer" exam meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (PEC). The exam covers the following competency areas: 

Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) 

Domain 2: Information Security Management System (ISMS) 

Domain 3: Planning the implementation of an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001 

Domain 4: Implementation of an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001 

Domain 5: Monitoring and measurement of an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001 

Domain 6: Continuous improvement of an ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001  

Domain 7: Preparing for an WSIS certification audit

Candidates will be asked to come to 1simple1's premises or take the exam in our accredited exam room, where they will be supervised in real time

After successfully passing the exam, you can apply for the certification. You will receive a certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential.
